Chinese Visa Application Service Center (“CVSAC”) is only responsible for acceptance of China visa applications, submission of the visa applications to the office of the Consult-General of the People’s Republic of China in Chicago (the “Consulate”) and returning the passport back to the applicant/s. It must be noted that the grant or refusal of a visa is at the sole discretion of the China visa issuing authority and CVSAC is neither involved in the process nor is liable or responsible in any manner whatsoever for any delay in processing or grant or rejection of the visa application of any applicant by the issuing authority, which reserves the right to request further documentation or rejection of the visa application. The China visa issuing authority will make the final decision as to the type of visa, how quickly it will be issued and for what duration it will be issued. CVSAC cannot guarantee the time required for an issuing authority to grant or reject an application. CVSAC shall not be held responsible for, nor will accept any liability for, the actions of the Consulate or other visa issuing authority in delaying or not issuing such applications for any reason whatsoever.

 

Each China visa applicant is responsible for providing current, complete and accurate information for his or her China visa application. CVSAC shall not be held responsible for expense, delay, and/or any other consequences arising from or in connection with: (i) incomplete application forms; (ii) incorrectly or falsely completed application forms; or (iii) inaccurate or incomplete supporting documents.

 

CVSAC takes every reasonable precaution while handling the documents of the applicant/s and shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever to the applicant/s for any documents which are lost or damaged in transit by accident, theft, natural calamities (act of god) or any other reason outside the control of, or not arising out of a willful default of CVSAC, or after the documents are handed over directly to the applicant/s.

 

CVSAC is not responsible for items misplaced, damaged, delayed or destroyed by a delivery service or visa issuing authority. The applicant/s agrees and accepts that the courier acceptance and delivery service through which the documents are transported between CVSAC and the Consulate and returned to the applicant/s by CVSAC is operated by an independent third-party vendor. CVSAC does not control or operate any courier company, neither does it control or operate any facility or service provided by the courier company. CVSAC disclaims any and all liability for any loss or damage caused to the applicant/s in the event that his/her documents are delayed/ misplaced/ lost/ damaged by the courier company, whether such delay/ misplacement/ loss/ damage result from negligence, accident or any other cause. In no event shall CVSAC and/or its representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever due to such delay/ misplacement/ loss/ damage of the documents, including the applicant’s passport. Should the applicants have issues with third party contractors, CVSAC will assist and support the client in building their cases to resolve the issues that they may have.
