at QinChuan American 
On August 31th, the grand opening of Overseas Talent Liaison Office of Shaanxi Province at QinChuan American & North America Talents Exchange Center of Shaanxi State--Owned Assets Administration Commission has successfully held in Edward Hotel in Dearborn City of Michigan.
 
This Liaison Office and Talents Exchange Center is established by QinChuan American under the lead of Division of Shanxi State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Employees from QinChuan American hold a concurrent position at the Liaison Office and Talents Exchange Center temporarily. The main mission of North American Talents Exchange Center is: Recruit talents in North America from all areas for Shanxi State-Owned Companies; provide convenience and communication bridge for the training, visiting and technology information of Shanxi State-Owned company; provide consulting and introduction service for Shanxi State-Owned company to expand NA market and find partners, provide office accommodation for new entry companies; organize oversea experts to conduct lecture, training and tech communication in Shanxi State-owned companies; advanced the cooperation between Shanxi Province and Michigan State; provide visa service for business trips for members from  Division of Shaanxi State-owned Assets  Supervision and Administration Commission or its subsidiary company.
 
 
Detroit Chinese Business Association hosted this event and assisted in inviting guest entrepreneurs from all walks of life, scholars and professors from colleges and universities, and experts from professional fields to attend this event. During the meeting, Mr. Gong, Jungui, Vice Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Shaanxi Province, introduced the guests and the favorable Visa policies for high-level talents coming to work in Shaanxi province. Then a video for Shanxi Province was played so that the guests gained more knowledge about the culture, history, investment and living environment of Shanxi. After the video, Mr. Liu, Huimin, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Department of Human Resources and Social Security, introduced the favorable policies in Shaanxi Province for economy growth, opening up and attracting high-level talents. Mr. Cheng, Yingbin, Director of Division of Organization Department in Shaanxi CPC, introduced the talents project and talents recruiting policy in Shaanxi Province, and Mr. Li, Xiaoyan, Vice Director of Division of Shaanxi State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, introduced industry strength of state-owned companies in Shaanxi and the policy for attracting talents. Last but not least, Mrs. Lan, Zhuangli, Director at Bureau Of Shaanxi Foreign Experts Affairs and QC American signed the Agreement for Setting Up the Overseas Talents Liaison Office of Shaanxi Province at QC American. Moreover, Mrs. Lan, Zhuangli and Mr. Cheng, Yingbin, Director of Division of Organization Department in Shaanxi CPC unveiled Ceremony for Overseas Talents Liaison Office of Shaanxi Province at QC American and Mr. Liu, Huimin, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Department of Human Resources and Social Security, unveiled Ceremony for North America Talents Exchange Center of Shaanxi SASAC.
 

 
The purpose of establishing Talents Exchange Center is to expeditiously implement the mid to long-term talent development planning of Shanxi Province company, execute more opened company talents internationalization strategy, attract high-level talents in overseas to start up and innovate in Shanxi.
 
 Establish "one-step" oversea talents service window in Shanxi, establish close cooperative relationship with embassies, Chinese organizations and famous oversea head-hunting company, and to extensively collect information about oversea talents. Regularly lunch talents attraction events through oversea talents recruiting activities.
 
 
 
 
DCBA 2017 Annual Summer Picnic
On August 26 (Saturday) morning, accompanied with the beautiful weather, the 2017 annual picnic was held in Grosse Point Lake Farms Pier Park. Over one hundred DCBA's members and friends came to participate the picnic party!
 
 
The event started around 10 am.Volunteers were happily preparing and grilling chicken,sausage and ribs by the lakeside in the delightful music.The president of DCBA Brian Gao also brought pizza, snacks and beverages. During the preparation,guests arrived, greeted each other and made friends.
 
Around the noon,the event sponsor 168 Asia Market sent delicious Chinese food such as fried shrimp, spicy chicken and vegetables.Guests all enjoy the lunch and the conversation very much.
 
 
In the afternoon, guests had tours and took photos around the beautiful lake.Some people enjoy the canoe on the lake and kids love the magic balloon. 
 
The picnic ended up in the late afternoon and guests returned home with great experience from this successful event and looked forward to the picnic next year.
 

 

 
 
 
Jason Luo
He is chairman and chief executive officer of Ford China, effective September 1, 2017. He reports to Peter Fleet, group vice president and president, Asia Pacific.
 
Prior to Ford, Luo was president and CEO, Key Safety Systems (KSS) since 2007. In that role, he led the business transformation and global expansion of the company.
