  Detroit Chinese Business Association Honors China’s Commerce Ministry at Annual Golf Outing

The Detroit Chinese Business Association returned to the fabulous TPC Michigan at 1 Nicklaus Drive in Dearborn, MI hosted their 19th Annual golf outing on September 18. They welcomed China’s Commerce Ministry who is aggregating a trade mission of companies seeking collaborations and investments into green energy for automotive, mobility and transportation industries here in Michigan.Read More

Detroit Chinese Business Association in China

Detroit Chinese Business Association President Jerry Xu and VP Milan Stevanovich travelled to China during National Holiday week with former US Ambassador Michael Michalak & Co Chairman of the Ambassador Woodcock Legacy Center Melvin Gilroy and several local business leaders.

DCBA were hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Province where we were guests of honor at Official 65th anniversary dinner receptions, award ceremonies and cultural performances, dining alongside with the Governor, vice Governors of Hubei province, Mayor of Wuhan, etc.

Being chaperoned by family of former Chinese Ambassador to United States, Jerry and Milan partook in wonderful cultural and diplomatic activities in Wuhan, Wuxi, Haian, Nantong, Shanghai. Jerry had additional meetings with Ministry of Commerce office in Beijing nurturing current relations and creating new ones

DCBA looks to possibility of taking quarterly trips to China with local business, community and diplomatic leaders to get a better understanding and experience of what is happening in China.

DCBA Will be hosting a private event for Sponsors only with delegation from Wuhan next week. Sponsors please contact us with your availability. If we have room we will open this meeting up to DCBA corporate members as well.
